A platform built from real-world deployments
OpenClaw was born from necessity. As we deployed more AI agents into more businesses, we needed a way to manage them at scale — monitoring their performance, coordinating their work, and ensuring reliability across dozens of concurrent workflows. No off-the-shelf tool existed that met our needs, so we built our own.
Today, OpenClaw manages every AI agent we deploy. It provides a unified control plane where we can see what every agent is doing, how it is performing, and whether it needs attention. Agents submit their work for review, receive instructions through Notion, and coordinate with each other through structured task delegation — all under human oversight.

Auto-Start & Recovery
LaunchAgents ensure the system starts automatically on boot and recovers from crashes. The gateway runs on port 18789 with full logging to ensure zero downtime.

Instead, they do the work, present options, and submit results for human review.
